spoke with some homeschoold groups on April 16 & 17 and to Benedictine
College students Tuesday evening about Chesterton
Press and the "secret" to its "success" and its
mission: Evangelizing
the Imagination.
Thursday,
January 26, 2012 at 8pm EST. Regina gave
a talk on fiction writing: Which Comes first, the Plot or the Character?
at the Homeschool
Connections Online Conference
Regina
says: This classic connudrum was solved by the playwright
Lajos Egri, and is the method still employed by Hollywood screenwriters
today. With an overview of both story structure and character building,
this talk particularly explores the overlooked component that Egri used
to tie both together in a satisfying whole.
December 5, 2011 at 7pm - 9pm. Regina was at Theresa Squire's house in
Alexandria, VA for food and fun, a discussion of her books and the John
Paul 2 High series, and she read part of JP2 High Book 3: Summer
of My Dissent.

Fiction Editor, Regina Doman spoke about the impoverishment of our imaginations
and what we can do about it at the IHM

networked with other Catholic writers, authors, publishers, and businesses
at the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel & Convention Center.

ANNUAL FAIRY TALE FAN FESTIVAL was held for the first time in
Minnesota! Attendees participated in skits, talent show, writing &
film workshops, a Murder Mystery Party, Fairy Tale Novel Swing Dancing,
and the PREMIERE
of "The Shadow of the Bear: The Movie"! Details
